You can sign out of TVNZ+ on your current device, or remotely sign out of any other devices you're still logged in on.

Sign out of your current device

On Smart TVs and mobile apps:

1. Open the TVNZ+ app and go to Settings in the navigation menu.
2. Select Sign out.

On a computer or mobile browser:

1. Go to tvnz.co.nz and select your profile icon or name.
2. Select Sign out.

You'll be taken to the homepage after signing out.

Sign out of other devices remotely

You can see all the devices currently signed in to your account and sign out of any of them.

1. Go to tvnz.co.nz and sign in.
2. Select your profile icon and go to Account.
3. Under Devices, you'll see a list of signed-in devices.
4. Select Remove next to any device you want to sign out.
5. You'll be asked to enter a one-time code sent to your email to confirm the removal.

Remote sign-out is available on web and mobile browsers only. That device will be signed out the next time the TVNZ+ app is opened on it.
 

With our new platform, it’s no longer possible to update the email address on an existing account.

What you can do instead

If you still have access to your old email address:

• Delete your current account, and then
• Create a new account using your new email address. You can do it by clicking here.

If you no longer have access to your old email address:

• Head to the TVNZ+ sign‑up page and create a new account with your new email address.

This ensures your account details are set up correctly on the new platform.

Important to know

When you delete your account, your watch history, saved viewing progress, and preferences will be permanently removed.

These can’t be transferred to a new account, so you’ll be starting fresh when you sign up again.
