How do I create a TVNZ+ account?

You can create a TVNZ+ account for free on the TVNZ+ website or app. You don't need a credit card — TVNZ+ is free to use.

Before you start

• You'll need an email address you can access.
• Sign-up works on a phone, tablet, or computer — you can't create an account directly on a smart TV or game console.
• If you want to use TVNZ+ on a TV, create your account on your phone or computer first, then log in on the TV.

How to create an account

1. Go to tvnz.co.nz, click on login, and then select Sign up. Alternatively, you can open the TVNZ+ app and follow the instructions.
2. Enter your email address, first name, last name, and year of birth and gender.
3. Read and accept the House Rules and Privacy Policy.
4. Select Sign me up!.
5. We'll send a 6-digit code to your email address. Open that email and enter the code on screen.
6. Your account is now active.

The code is valid for ten minutes. If it expires, you can request a new one from the login screen.
