Setting up TVNZ+ on your Android TV
- Open the Google Play Store on your Android TV.

- Open the Google Play Store.
- At the top, select My Apps.
- Under Updates available, find TVNZ+ and select Update.

Troubleshooting playback issues
- Restart your TV and router: Turn off both, unplug from the wall, wait 2–3 minutes, then turn them back on.
- Check for updates (see above).
- Clear app cache: Settings > Apps > TVNZ+ > Clear Cache. If issues persist, select Clear Data — note that this will sign you out.
- Close unused apps to free up memory: Settings > Apps, then close any apps you're not using.
- Reinstall the app: Uninstall TVNZ+ from Settings > Apps, then reinstall from the Play Store.
Panasonic Android TV: time zone settings
If you have a Panasonic Android TV and can't download or update the TVNZ+ app, check your time zone settings — an incorrect time zone can block downloads.
- Press Home on your remote.
- Go to Settings > Device Preferences > Date & Time.
- Enable automatic time zone, or manually set it to New Zealand (Auckland) time.
