How do I delete my TVNZ+ account?

You can permanently delete your TVNZ+ account from the mobile app or a web browser. This can only be done from the primary profile on your account. 

Deleting your account is permanent — your watch history, My List, and profile information will be removed and can't be recovered.

How to delete your account

1. Open the TVNZ+ app on your phone or tablet, or go to tvnz.co.nz in a web browser.
2. Make sure you're signed in to the primary profile.
3. Go to Account Settings.
4. Select 'Want to delete your account?'.
5. A one-time code will be sent to your email address. Enter the code to confirm.
6. Your account will be permanently deleted.

Note: Account deletion isn't available on smart TVs or game consoles — you'll need to use the TVNZ+ mobile app or a web browser.
