Playback may load slowly, freeze, or crash on your Hisense TV due to issues like weak internet connection, outdated VIDAA OS or TVNZ+ app, or insufficient storage.
Check Internet Connection: Ensure your Hisense TV is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network. If possible, move the TV closer to the router or use a wired Ethernet connection.
Restart the television and internet router: Power off your devices by unplugging them for 2–3 minutes. Then, plug them back in to resolve any temporary issues.
Update VIDAA OS and TVNZ+ App: Go to Settings → Support → System Upgrade → Check Firmware Upgrade.
Clear App Cache and Data: Settings → System → Application Settings → Clear Cache. Please note, this does not clear individual app data, it is a system-wide function that clears the cache for all apps and the browser, and it requires the TV to restart.
Reinstall TVNZ+ App: If clearing app cache doesn’t help, uninstall and reinstall TVNZ+ from the VIDAA App Store.
Check Storage Space: Low internal storage can cause app crashes. Remove unused apps or files to free up space.
