TVNZ has an app on select Android TVs OS 7+ which include:
- Sony, TCL, Philips, and Toshiba Smart TV's
- Freeview-approved Android TV devices (SmartVU, SmartVU+, A2 recorder)
- Amazon Fire Stick 4K Max
- Amazon Fire Stick (3rd Gen)
- Chromecast with Google TV
- New Sky Box and Sky Pod
The latest Sony Smart TVs usually come with Android TV. You just need to open the Google Play Store on your TV and search for TVNZ. For the best experience, you’ll need to be running the latest software.
Note: To comply with our agreements with content providers and enhance the security of our streaming service, we've introduced new technology that prevents illegal copying of content. As a result, we can no longer support Android-connected TVs running Android TV OS version 6 or earlier.
