We're really sorry the app isn't working for you and know how frustrating that must be. TVNZ OnDemand has been designed to operate on Android 4.3 and above. But we know that on some devices, even with the right operating system OnDemand may not always work, for example where the device is lacking critical features / compatibility with our app .

We’ve also got a few suggestions which may help. First and foremost check for any updates to our Android software version. We’d also recommend checking for any updates to the OnDemand app. Another idea is to force all apps to close on your device and then try uninstalling the app. Turn off your device for 30 seconds, then reinstall the app and see if it performs any better. Beyond this, it may be you have software installed on your phone like a third party virus protection app that may be blocking TVNZ from operating. We’d recommend disabling any app you think might be doing this to see whether that’s the case.
